WE’RE ALREADY HUGE FANS OF THE LEGO GAME SERIES, BUT THE
NEXT INSTALMENT COULD BE THE MOST INCREDIBLE YET.

Just how incredible is The Incredibles
movie? And how much more incredible is
it that a sequel is finally out in cinemas? It
brings back the Parr family as they battle
not just the Underminer, but also a new
villain called the Screenslaver. The entire
family return, of course - Bob, Helen, Violet,
Dash and Jack-Jack. Plus little baby Jack-
Jack has some secret powers we didn’t
know about.
Now as you know, the Lego games love
a good movie to use as inspiration. For
the latest big release, developer Traveller’s
Tales is using both the original Lego
Incredibles movie and the new sequel
as the basis for its stories. So you will
get to enjoy familiar scenes, locations
and characters as you play through each
mission. Plus, there’s plenty of laughs to
be had as the story makes jokes about the
films.
The game does have its own story to
enjoy, however. As we’ve seen with other

recent Lego games, there is a big hub world to
explore here. Each neighbourhood in the world
has been overtaken by a dangerous villain. As
a team, the Incredibles family must beat all the
challenges in an area, fight the big boss and
complete the mission to try and clear out the
world from evil.
By now you should have a very good idea of
how the Lego games play. Either by yourself
or – if you are lucky – with your friends, you
make your way through a 3D platformer world,
solving puzzles, building items, collecting bricks
and using each characters’ powers. Of course
