SLEDHEADS

(^162)
And it’s an event that Mother Nature
did very little to help happen. The track
was a bit of a miracle in and of itself, as
there was not an abundance of snow
early last winter. So race organizers used
snow that was made at Snow King Resort
along with some snow trucked in from
Teton Pass.
With the man-made and natural snow
holding up well under the cold temps,
the races were held without a hitch, real-
ly, a credit to Snow King Resort and ISOC
race organizers.
Racing under the lights at Snow King
was full of excitement and plenty of dra-
ma in some of the finals as thousands of
fans lined the fences to watch the action.
Racing took place most all day of both
days of the Jackson Hole Snocross Na-
tional but the Pro, Pro Lite and Pro AM
Women finals were held under the lights.
Here’s a look back at the two days
of racing that featured plenty of action,
some drama and a great opportunity for
western race fans to see a national sno-
cross event. SH
