This was from last spring’s KLIM Backcountry Team ride. Cole Wilford has a knack for finding
spots that don’t seem possible. He, Chris Burandt and Keith Curtis all took multiple shots at this
hill. As you can see, it’s vertical. The run-in was a gnarly trenched-out wall barely wide enough
for a sled. After that, it didn’t get much better, especially after these guys trenched out every bit
of good snow. Chris and Keith’s sleds are seen in this photo. It took both of them, Brock Butters
and myself some strategic work to safely get theirs sleds off the mountain. —Matt Entz
