SLEDHEADS
(^186)
Part two. They say the best mem-
ories come from bad ideas done
with good friends and that pretty
much sums up our summer vaca-
tion last year. Tony Jenkins, Jes-
se Ziegler and myself decided
to ride our dirt bikes across the
entire state of Idaho on as much
single track as possible. What en-
sued was nine of the hardest and
longest days of our lives with flat
tires, breakdowns, running out
of fuel, dragging bikes up cliffs,
cutting logs and fire re-routes. It
was pretty rough at the time but
we survived and have memories
that will last a lifetime.

This picture makes me laugh every time I see it.
This incredibly fun group from the East Coast
came out to ride with us and unfortunately their
wingman on the right got in a fight with a tree
on day two. The tree won. So it was only fitting
for the boys to photo shop their buddy (with a
hilarious picture of course) into our photo on
day three. To me, this shot really symbolizes
how fun our sport is and how great the people
are within it. —Chris Burandt
Part two. Lesson No. 4. Object fixation. Look
where you want to go, not where you don’t
want to end up. —Brock Buttars
