Motor Boat & Yachting — August 2017

(WallPaper) #1
This must surely be one of the most
versatile 25ft boats on the market.
There is a displacement version
available with petrol, diesel or hybrid
power on a choice of three different
drives (pod, saildrive or outboard),

a planing version capable of 40 knots
on sterndrives or jets, two distinct
trim options and a very smart optional
hardtop that covers the entire cockpit
and is height adjustable. Even the
cabin roof can be raised and lowered

to increase headroom and ventilation.
An added benefit is that at the
end of the day, you simply lower the
hardtop completely via a remote
control so the boat is left totally
sealed from weather and intruders.

Though it may not look all
that revolutionary, the 35.0
is a brand new boat and
the start of an entirely new
direction for Linssen. It will see

the yard producing more affordable
production craft between 20 and
50ft, the 35.0 AC and Sedan,
and a 40.0 the first three models
in this new Dot Zero range.

The 35.0 AC starts at €236,000 and
for that, you get a raised aft cockpit,
a pair of ensuite double cabins at
each end of the boat and a comfy,
light-filled saloon in the middle.

A single Volvo Penta 75hp diesel is
the sole engine option and will waft
the boat along at a leisurely 8 knots.
If you’re unlikely to host guests
regularly and prefer single-level living
