Walk of the month April:
Monastic wandering
from S’Arraco


This walk requires stamina
and a good deal of energy.
However, it is a fabulous
circular route with lots of
variety and lots of highlights -
a real treat!

Starting in the sleepy village
of S’Arraco we set off for this
classic Mallorcan circuit across
the majestic Tramuntana
foothills, combining
woodland, limestone
wilderness and panoramic
coastal views. After a picnic
lunch stop at abandoned
mountain dwellings we
walk on towards the ruins
of an abandoned Trappist
monastery overlooking the
sleeping Dragonera island.
Along this route there are a
number of look out points
with outstanding views of the
south west coast....

After exploring the ruins of

the old community dwellings,
including the old windmill, we
have another short climb to
the Coll de ses Animes
before descending on a

Return to the hedonism of the
roaring 1920’s as the Sirens
bring Prohibition to Santa
Catalina! Glamorous pleasure

sublime food!

onwards. Take advantage of

receive a stamp! Collect all
6 stamps (1 per location)
for your opportunity to be
entered into a prize draw to

win bootleg prizes worth
over €300!
Lab Cocktail Bar will be
serving up a mouth-watering
Prohibition cocktail and
Havana Bar will be the final
location where the prize
draw will take place at
11.30pm. Another 4 secret
drinking establishments will
be announced on the Sirens
Facebook page!

A guaranteed night of fun,
entertainment, great food,
white lighting and hooch!
Dressing dapper is optional
and there is a prize for
the best-dressed male
and female.

Each TNT event supports a
local charity and this month
the Sirens are delighted to be
raising funds for Asociacion
Ondine, promoting the
environmental and financial
benefits healthy ecosystems
provide for local communities.

  • we could divert to the little
    fishing village of Sant Elm for
    a swim from the beach there,
    or get another glimpse of
    Dragonera island from
    the ruined tower at Cala
    Basset.... or simply stroll
    back to S’Arraco.
