Sound unit – Action.

I used a full mixer unit from J.J.C. (I think this company may not

be in existence now?). The mixer is usually connected to the motors

and rudder so that when the model is moving ahead/astern and

rudder is applied the mixer comes into play and the model slows

down to turn, not good on a power boat/MTB/etc. or a tug when

100% pulling power in a turn is required!

I don’t know if anyone has done this before but after a bit of

thought I made a modification by just moving the rudder servo plug

from the mixer to channel 3 of the receiver. This now allows me to

use channel 3 on the transmitter (my left hand stick) just for the

rudder and the speed controller of the mixer unit on the vertical left

hand stick. The mixer only comes into operation when I turn using

the horizontal right hand stick when the motors will slow down

and one reverse when turning. This allows much faster and tighter

turning at full power if required, hopefully the diagram will help to
