THE BIGGEST

KISMET

Built for Shahid Khan, owner of
Fulham Football Club and the NFL team
Jacksonville Jaguars, the 95 metre Lürssen
was designed with corporate entertaining
and charters in mind. The glamorous interior
by Reymond Langton is complemented by restful
outdoor spaces – think fire pits, glass-enclosed pools
and bamboo swings floating over the side decks.
Kismet accommodates 12 guests, looked after by a
crew of 28. With an award-winning exterior by
Espen Øino, the 2014-launched superyacht
is one of the most sought after on the
charter market – and one of the most
expensive. From €1.2 million
per week.

SOLANDGE

If you’re seeking the ultimate spa experience

  • and are not hindered by budget – you
will be at home on this 85 metre Lürssen,
accommodating 12 guests. The focal point
on the bridge deck is a gorgeous spa with
steam room, sauna, massage suite, beauty
salon and indoor/outdoor gym opening on
to a pool. Guests can watch a film under the
stars, or dance the night away with the DJ
on the top deck. From $910,000 per week.

SERENE

The world’s 12th largest yacht, the 134 metre
Serene has hosted the likes of Bill Gates. Two
helipads allow easy access while a conference
room means business can continue on board,
if it must. There is plenty of scope for play in
this Fincantieri superyacht, with an indoor
climbing wall, a kids’ playroom, huge beach
club, spa and multiple pools. She can take
24 guests, with 52 crew keeping everything
running smoothly. Serene is no longer publicly
listed for charter but, as a broker insider told
us, “there is always a way”. When she last
chartered, it was for €1.2 million per week.

NIRVANA

The 88.5 metre Oceanco Nirvana offers charterers
abundant options. First, the floor of the 7.5 metre
counterflow pool can be raised to transform the aft
deck into an immense entertaining space for parties.
Next, if seclusion is a priority, the owner’s area can be
extended to sequester the entire upper deck for the
private use of the principal charterer, who can enjoy
a spa pool, terraces and dining area. Then there’s the
trans-Pacific range, which few charter clients will ever
put to the test, but ensures that her 12 guests can
roam as far as they’d like. From €900,000 per week.

ROMEA

Newly launched in 2015, the
81.8 metre Abeking & Rasmussen yacht
is one of the newest to the charter fleet and
also one of the most expensive. Designed
inside and out by Terry Disdale, her impeccable
interior features big, comfortable sofas and
a grand piano. There’s no need to squabble over
the main feature for the evening’s film screening
as there are two cinemas on board, with the
second set out under the night sky. The
expansive beach club has a sauna, and
the 12 guests are taken care of by an
experienced crew of 23. From
€875,000 per week.
