With special thanks to the owner, captain and
crew of 33.4 metre Heliad II. The classic-looking,
canoe-sterned yacht was built in 2013 by Lynx
Yachts, a shipyard founded by the owner of the
yacht, Slim Bouricha, who was interviewed in
the March 2016 issue of Boat International.
The supremely comfortable yacht was conceived
by Diana Yacht Design in Holland, with heavy
input from Bouricha, who wanted “the perfect
gentleman’s family yacht”. The contemporary,
minimal interior by Weber Yacht Design features
a main deck master stateroom forward, and

four guest cabins on the lower deck – two
doubles and two twins. The steel-hulled boat
has accommodation for 12 guests, served by
six crew across the open-plan living spaces.
Like any successful charter yacht (Heliad II
charters through Fraser Yachts, and is available
for €89,000 per week, operating in the western
Mediterranean in both summer and winter),
she comes complete with a whole suite of toys,
including paddleboards, kayaks, jet skis and
inflatables. The yacht is also for sale through
Fraser, offered at €9.9 million. lynxyachts.com
