The Classic Boat Awards, in
association with EFG private
bank, was held at Messum’s
Gallery in Mayfair, on April 12.
Guests included Ambassador
Simon J.H. Smits of the
Netherlands and 120 owners,
designers, builders, restorers as
well as other key individuals
involved in the classic world.
Visitors came from as far afi eld
as Finland, Spain, Switzerland
and Italy. The winners were
decided by public vote. Guest
speaker was presenter, author
and Classic Boat columnist Tom
Cunliffe. The evening was also
supported by the Boat Building
Academy in Lyme Regis, Beds
on Board, Simon Winter Marine
and Wight Vodka.
