WHY WE LOVE IT A military-

inspired exterior gives way to a

warm, organic interior. Outside

and inside appear to have the

opposite ethos but they were

designed at the same time and

hence they gel in their

contrapositions. All together,

Aouda is characterized by huge

outdoor spaces, substantial tender

and toy storage and a fresh

interior layout with large VIPs and

generous crew quarters.

WHAT IS IT? Part yacht support vessel, part explorer yacht. If the

two married, this 141 footer would be the offspring.

WHY WE LOVE IT For its “man cave” design. Developed in

response to client requests for more carrying capacity, this yacht

has 1,500 square feet of deck space to stow a helicopter, tender,

vehicle, submersible and more. Inside there are five cabins for up to

eight guests. The Dutch builder’s proven Sea Axe hull has the

seakeeping ability to match the rugged design.
