Of all the brand new sailing yachts cruising the Mediterranean

this summer, few will have as many miles under their keels as

Allsmoke. Recently delivered from Cape Town to Gibraltar via

the Ascension Islands, the 27.5m custom sloop was created by

Southern Wind, with exterior styling by Nauta Design and naval

architecture courtesy of Reichel/Pugh. A smooth, ergonomic

deck design means that Allsmoke can be comfortably sailed in

cruising mode with the minimum of crew. The owner was also

keen that she be easily converted to racing mode, so we could
