The balance of indoor and outdoor

space is ideally suited for this style

of entertaining and that deep cockpit

with its glazed buttresses provides

excellent protection from wind and

spray without depriving its occupants

of a good view forward. Although

it is possible to squeeze a second

cabin below decks, the current layout

with a spacious double berth forward

and a generous day heads is probably

a better use of the space.

Given Martyn’s background, the

level of fit and finish is consistently

excellent with beautifully crafted

cabinetry and lots of neat details

like the swivel cleats and eye-level

compass. Being a sailor, he’s also

factored in plenty of storage, safe

side decks and good engine access.
