We switched it off. More successful
was the joystick control that made
a decent fist of punting the boat
sideways toward the berth, even
in quite blustery conditions.
The Fjord 36 xpress fulfils its beach
commute or inter-island shuttle brief
perfectly, then, just like a large, fast
RIB. The difference is that when you
anchor off the beach, it turns into a
small island of its own with catering
facilities, a decent loo, plenty of place
to stretch out, socialise and watch the
kids playing with the watertoys, plus
the ability to stay on board should
