A free diver hangs balletically
underneath the Wally 110 Barong
D, a Frers-designed superyacht
launched last autumn. This
spectacular image of her was
created by the Malta-based
photographer Kurt Arrigo, who
specialises in underwater shoots.
“I recently photographed
the new Barong D in various
conditions showcasing her
beauty,” Arrigo explains. “On the
assignment I thought it would be
interesting to capture a different
perspective by also adding a
human element.
“Anja Senn, who is a
professional free diver, joined for
the assignment. We met up close
to the island of Comino [between
Malta and Gozo], where the sea
is crystal clear and at a time
when the sun would be setting.”
While Arrigo worked in full
scuba gear, Senn free dived to
dance underwater on the vast
keel bulb of the 65-tonne yacht,
