began his fine antique furniture

business in 2004. Encouraged by

the growing desire for furniture

inspired by the past he crafts pieces

that eortlessly match existing

antique and modern furnishings.

He hopes his pieces will be passed

down through generations of

collectors to come.

WHAT

The inspiration

for Jonathan’s

furniture

comes from

the antiques

he discovered

while

travelling.

Some pieces are

direct copies of

traditional works

such as his Regency-style

sideboards while others have taken

a specific detail from an old item

such as a drawer pull or tapered

leg to create a one-of-a-kind

design. He also oers a

bespoke service for clients

who wish to match a piece to

an existing antique.

In the London showroom all

of the furniture is displayed

thematically: with traditional

hand-crafted pieces on the top

floor and contemporary antique-

inspired designs on the ground.

‘My favourite range at the

moment is the ‘JC Modern’’

explains Jonathan ‘although not

traditional pieces they are made

with the same heritage methods and

skills that craft antique items.’
