Turquoise, which recently opened an office in Fort
Lauderdale and sold its latest build, 154ft Roe (ex
Razan), has unveiled one of the projects in its sheds.
The Turkish builder has begun construction on spec
of a 243ft yacht, with styling by A Vallicelli & C Yacht
Design and an interior by Ken Freivokh Design.
WHY WE LOVE IT: If it were a museum piece,
it would be Michelangelo’s David, all symmetry and
ideal proportions. Amenities include a beach club,
a garage large enough for a couple of tenders, and
a private outdoor movie lounge on the top deck.
The owners will enjoy the upper deck private suite
with wraparound windows overlooking a private
terrace and the helipad beyond. So that guests can
keep in shape while traveling the world, the designers
have made plans for a gym, sauna and a 23ft long
outdoor pool on the main deck.
It is built in steel and aluminum, has a top speed of
17 knots and a crew of 15, and the target completion
date is 2019. turquoiseyachts.com
