or chakras of the body, where sound

is nutrition for the nervous system.”

Guests sit meditatively or lie on a
day bed as the ocean waters flow all
around, and marine creatures add
flashes of colour in the ethereal blue.
This would be par for the course in
the Maldives had it not been for the
fact that the said guests are actually
be under water. For Lime Spa, at Per
Aquum, Huvafen Fushi, has two
underwater couples treatment rooms
with panoramic reef views afforded
through large glass windows. The
signature treatment is a three-hour
ritual of island coconut, lime and
minerals, finished with Radiance ice
cubes, with an epilogue of sipping on
herbal teas and watching ocean life.
