appearance and stance, disguising
the fact that it is (a) the longest and
widest compared to the A6, E-Class,
5 Series and GS, and (b) the 2,960mm
wheelbase comes in second shortest
just after the 5 Series’ 2,968mm.
Viewed from the side, it once again
showcases just how similar it looks
next to the XE; that said, only sharp-
eyed detectives would notice the
additional small window on the C-pillar
to differentiate the two. Also in its
attempt to please potential buyers, the
local Jaguar dealer made 18-inch alloys
wrapped in 245/45 R-18 Continental

owner, cars that sold well, as well as
some that would be best forgotten.
For now, let us all put that history
behind and give some attention to
Jaguar’s latest executive sedan, the XF.
With this all-new model, Jaguar now
has a complete line up of models to go
against the more established players,
like the XJ against the A8, S-Class, 7
Series and LS, while the XE competes
with the A4, C-Class, 3 Series and IS,
and finally, this XF against the likes of
the A6, E-Class, 5 Series and GS.
It sounds like a really tough job,
yes? But the truth of the fact, it really
doesn’t need to worry about itself.
Ok, so some might opine it looks far
too similar to the junior XE. While it is
an inexcusable issue, at least Jaguar
managed to give it a very proportionate
