part of the boot lid and the C-pillars,
recycled CFRP is used, where leftover
CFRP materials are mixed with resin
and shaped into the desired part.

way of utilising the material.
As a result of BMW’s carbon core
technology, the new 7 Series is not
only able to achieve significant weight
savings (by up to 130kg) over its
predecessor, but it is also able to offer
a far stronger and more rigid passenger
cell for greater safety and comfort.

minimal interruptions from external
