colourful murals and

frescoes. I gazed

in awe at intricate

scenes of dancing

girls, marching

soldiers, royal

processions, local

festivals, and polo

matches; portraits

of princes and

princesses, and gods

and goddesses—all

in a delightful

turquoise palette.
