THE PHOTOGRAPHER’S STORY

Komsomolskaya is the most extravagant of all

designed by the same architect as Lenin’s tomb,
it has eight large ceiling mosaics made from semi-
precious stones like jasper and lapis lazuli, showing
heroic scenes from Russian military history.
