C

elebrating the spirit and courage of cancer

survivors, the Festival of Hope Foundation

organised the 10th edition of its mega fund

raiser this March. Festival of Hope, a registered

NGO, is the brainchild of Shalini Vig Wadhwa

and uses the medium of fashion, art and design

to encourage and celebrate cancer survivors. This

year’s event was held in association with designer

JJ Valaya, who presented his royal collection ‘Ranas

of Kachchh’ amid loud cheer. The beautiful

evening at DLF Greens saw several ‘Leaders of

Hope’ walk the ramp; actors Angad Bedi and Nora

Fatehi were the showstoppers. In another heart-

warming instance, children rescued by Spread

a Smile India enthusiastically performed at the

event. The chief guest at the event was Rajmata

Mukut Rajya Lakshmi Devi of Jaisalmer. The

event was attended by over 300 guests; significant

personalities present included Sangita Mehra,

Shailja Devi, Sanjana Jon, Suhel Seth and Ajay

and Sangita Mehra. MillionaireAsia India was the

media partner for the event.
