DARE TO DREAM

A thing of great beauty rises in value
when you view it from a distance.
But when it comes to this huge
rock, possession is all you’re going
to think about. Better known as
‘Shirley Temple Blue’, this 9.54-carat
blue diamond ring was gifted to the
actor by her father to commemorate
the release of her film The Blue
Bird. Shirley kept the ring close to
her heart and it remained in her
possession until she passed away
in 2014. What cost her father a
princely $7,210 in the 1940s, is today
estimated at a whopping $35 million.
The catch is that even if you are
willing to spend that kind of moolah,
you’re going to have to fight for it
with several others at an auction at
