SET UP YOUR FOUNDATION
l Find a seat where your pelvis is
neutral (not tipping forward or back)
and both sit bones are grounding
equally into the floor using a blanket
for support if you need to
l Stabilise the pelvis by gently
lowering your sacrum (the flat part of
your lower spine) and tailbone (coccyx)
down towards the ground
l This will lengthen your lower back
SET UP YOUR LEGS
l Starting with both legs
straight in front of you bend
your right leg and cross your
right foot over your left leg
l Then bend your left
leg drawing your left heel
towards your right buttock
