The photo shows Candice Trimble, a keen nature photographer,
practicing in the woods outside her Virginia home, in the USA. “As
a newbie yogi, I now incorporate my love for the natural elements
during my sessions,” she tells OM. She says the woods outside her
house are an ideal spot to relax and also to photograph. The terrain
is also challenging during certain routines and poses, she adds.
“Surrounded by trees I’m also reminded of the yoga teachings. I keep
my feet rooted in the earth and my head extended up toward the
sun, visualising I’m a tree and finding strength and balance. Can’t wait
to continue my yoga journey and take it by the hand with my love for
the earth.”
