ties, we calculate the university averages of research inputs between 985Us and
non-985Us by year respectively. See Table3.9 for details.
It can be seen from Table3.9, 985Us outperform non-985Us in almost every
research input indicator. (1) The average of NK disciplines in 985Us is consider-
ably larger than that of non-985Us, the difference between two types sticks to 3
across thesefive years. (2) On the two Human Input indicators, R&D Staff and
R&D Staff with Senior Title, the averages of 985Us are much higher than those of
