inputs inside eastern China, we further divide 211Us in eastern China into JUs,

HSZUs and OUs, and plot each indicator by location in Figs.3.25,3.26,3.27and

3.28.

It can be seen from Figs.3.25and3.26, in most years of the period, the indi-

cators of R&D Staff and R&D Staff with Senior Title are much higher in the central

211Us than those in the eastern and western. Inside the eastern 211Us, JUs have
