3.3.1.2 HSS Disciplines
We present the status and change of HSS research outputs in full sample 211Us by
calculating the three statistics—sum, average, and coefficient of variation. See
Table3.17for details.
We present the sum and university average of each HSS research output indi-
cator in Table3.17, and the yearly change rate of average in Table3.18. Moreover,
in Figs.3.38,3.39,3.40and3.41, we illustrate the change of average of each
indicator in line chart. We can obtain the following points from these tables and
charts. (1) The total number of SSCI articles grows from 580 in 2006 to 2745 in
