Author Biographies
Jon Magne Vestøl is a Professor at the Department of Teacher Education and School
Research, University of Oslo, Norway. Among his research interests are: design and quality
aspects of teacher education, knowledge integration in teacher education and cultural and
ideological aspects of pupils’learning.
Andreas Lundis a Professor at the Department of Teacher Education and School Research,
University of Oslo, Norway and former Director of the ProTed Centre for Excellence in Teacher
Education. Among his research interests are: teaching and learning in technology-rich
environments, collective cognition, and sociocultural and activity theoretical perspectives.
