exactly what 27-year-old chef Justin

Foo and his business partner, KC

Rahmat, 34, have managed to do

at Provisions. At this four-month-old

modern Asian restaurant in the hip

Dempsey enclave, the energetic tag

team have put together what they

bill as Singapore’s first skewers and

claypot rice cocktail bar. Foo, whose

resume includes stints at Le Saint

Julien and Senso Ristorante, works

the kitchen, while Rahmat (formerly a

consultant with night club Pangaea)

captains the bar.
