The 16th edition of the
regional Malay music
awards show continues
to honour and bring
together outstanding
artistes and music industry
professionals. Organised
by Suria, Warna 94.2FM
and Ria 89.7FM, it will
present 19 awards and
will feature a stellar
line-up including Ayda
Jebat, Aisyah Aziz, Isyana
Sarasvati and Virgoun.

WTA Finals Singa-
pore
The jewel of the Women’s
Tennis Association (WTA)
season returns for its fourth
year. Catch top players like
Elina Svitolina (Ukraine),
Karolina Pliskova (Czech
Republic) and Johanna
Konta (United Kingdom)
as they battle it out for
the US$7 million prize
money and the Billie Jean
King Trophy (singles) and
Martina Navratilova Trophy
(doubles). Two days prior to
the first match, there will
also be a Draw Ceremony,
where the greatest eight
singles players are matched
against each other in front
of a live audience at Marina
Bay Sands; and the Fan
Village (open to the public),
where tennis fans can meet
their favourite players and
engage in tennis-themed
activities.

Strange and
Mysterious Art of

Foo Swee Chin is an
internationally-acclaimed
artist, known for published
titles like Singapore’s
Otaku Comicbook Artist
Heads for Japan, MUZz
and Nightmares and
Fairytales, a collaboration
with Serena Valentino.
ANSUZ is a collection of
traditional works done by
the famously enigmatic
artist, meant to represent

the frailness of the human
state.

exhibition by Bulgari pays
tribute to the snake motif
which has contributed to
the maison’s international
fame, and tells the story
of how the motif has

inspired the world of arts,
design and photography. It
features exquisite pieces
from ancient jewels to
contemporary artworks by
artists such as Keith Haring
and Alexander Calder.

photographic masterpieces
from Robert Mapplethorpe

the multiculturalism of the nation by
