Father & Son F-150
The exterior catches the eye as it was treated to a coating of
Axalta Cromax Nardo Grey, Super Jet Black, and Candy Red over
Brushed Silver. It was all painted by Andy Meeh of Flying Iron
Design using a whole host of 3M paint-related products to make this
color combination really stand out. To keep things nice and clean
in the wheelwells, a set of Husky liners were added. Rigid LEDs
light the way with a 20-inch lightbar, dual fogs, and backup lights in
the rear bumper, while a set of AMP Research Steps make entering
the cab that much easier. The suspension and undercarriage were
sprayed and baked by Inland Empire Powder Coating in Ontario,
California. The bed was definitely not left out. It was given a Bedrug,
a BedSlide Truck Bed Sliding Drawer, and Retrax Power Roll
Tonneau. Giving homage to his two-wheeled past, a pair of color-
matched Ssquared BMX bikes with all ANSR components leap
out of the bed. ANSR also supplied a set of color-matched helmets
with apparel-stuffed gear bags to go with it. A GoPro captures all the
action, while a set of Kicker Bluetooth Headphones with speakers
blasts out tunes during a day at the track.
