KOTA PERMAI GOLF & COUNTRY CLUB NAMED
MALAYSIA’S BEST GOLF COURSE
Kota Permai Golf & Country Club (KPGCC) was awarded Malaysia’s
Best Golf Course at the 2017 World Golf Awards ceremony held at the
La Manga Club in Spain, successfully defending the coveted title for the
second year running. After months of balloting worldwide and facing
fierce competition from other top clubs in the country, KPGCC trumped
20 nominees all vying for the prestigious award. This latest award
makes it a total of three Malaysia’s Best Golf Course honours bagged
by KPGCC at the World Golf Awards with the first being bestowed in


  1. Designed by Ross Watson, KPGCC’s 18-hole masterpiece of a golf
    course features pristinely manicured lawns set over undulating terrain and
    poses challenging hazards for both the veteran and the novice. Located
    within the mature town of Kota Kemuning developed by Gamuda Land,
    the 18-hole KPGCC championship course is known as one of the best
    golf courses in Asia. It has won numerous local and international awards
    including HAPA Golf Course of The Year at the Hospitality Asia Platinum
    Awards (HAPA) Regional Series Awards 2016 – 2018.


CUTTER & BUCK APPOINTED OFFICIAL APPAREL FOR EURASIA 2018
Cutter & Buck returns for the third consecutive time as the official apparel for the long
awaited EurAsia 2018. This biennial event will be held at Glenmarie Golf & Country
Club from 12th to 14th of January 2018. Cutter & Buck will collaborate with MST Golf,
its’ SEA region distributor to fit both Team Europe and Team Asia with Its apparels.
Players will be wearing Cutter & Buck’s Golf Performance collection. Cutter & Buck is

2ND LEG OF THE HSBC YOUTH
GOLF CHALLENGE 2017
Following a victory at the SICC/DBS Junior
Invitational Golf Championship, Tommy Tan
continued his run of good form to win the Boys
‘A’ Division at the HSBC Youth Golf Challenge,
2nd Leg held at Singapore’s Warren Golf and
Country Club. Sean Lee commanded his
Division as he carded an 8-over 231 (79,73,79)
to win the Boy’s ‘B’ Division title. Nearest
competitor was Ng Wei Jun who scored a 4-over
237 (81,81,75). In the Girl’s ‘A’ Division, Vanessa
Khoo recorded her first ever under-par round of
71 to edge out fellow competitor Heng Ee En to
win the Girl’s ‘A’ Division of the HSBC Youth Golf
Challenge. Inez Ng finally got her redemption
when she recorded a win over fellow competitor
Shannon Tan in the Girl’s ‘B’ Division of the
HSBC Youth Golf Challenge. The final leg of
the HSBC Youth Golf Challenge will be held in
March 2018 at Sembawang Country Club.
