December but it was a Merseyside
derby debut to remember for Mohamed
Salah. With half-time approaching in the
Anfield sleet he held off marker IdrissaGueye on the edge of the box, cut inside and
curled home his 19th goal of the season.
It was also the 23rd Liverpool goal in which
he'd been involved this season in all
competitions, as the Reds equalled
their longest-ever unbeaten run
against their neighbours in
all competitions,
15 games.
