The exhibition When is
Space? will reflect on con-
temporary architecture and
space-making practices in
India, with particular en-
gagement with the ideas of
the astronomer-king Sawai
Jai Singh and the architect
Charles Correa. It aims to
ask the question: When is
Space?, and hopes to put
together a series of explora-
tions in making space. The
exhibition brings together a
wide gamut of participants,
including architects, art-
ists, designers, researchers,
urbanists, philosophers,
architecture colleges and

Architecture
This exhibition is a poetic examination of
longing, memory, identity, dislocation and
loss. The works on view at the exhibition
use film and photography to explore the
complexity of human relationships and the
spaces they occupy—whether transitory,
aspirational, imaginary or reclaimed. I Wish
to Let you Fall out of my Hands looks at the
ambiguous and amorphous physical and
mental space of a transient moment.
