Hardly sexy next to the running gear
(whichwe’llcometo),butasstandard

handlebars put you in about the worst
position possible to get it round a
corner, and any effort you do put in
will be wasted when you smash the

spec footpegs have been tossed in the
metal recycling skip, and a new set of
frame/swingarm pivot plates have
been designed to accept a normal
rearset-type footpeg. The result is a
riding position closer to that of a
Ducati Monster, and much better
suited to getting round a corner. Or
just hanging on as you exploit all of
its 150bhp...
Performance (as well as the ability
to control it) has been improved, too.
