Bell-ended
behaviour, but not
worse than drink
driving, says Terry
Idiot’s injustice
I am emailing you with regard to the
the fact that this person (below) has
been jailed. I do not condone this sort
of riding, but have to ask how the
courts come to their decisions.
In the village close to me a 4x
driver came around the corner on the
wrong side of the road and went
straight into two horses and riders.
Luckily not much damage was done,
but they were given a ‘driver
awareness course’, and that was the
end of the matter.
Two women in Kirby were caught in
a drink drive purge before Christmas,
one three times and one two times
over the limit. The women three times
over was on the school run, and was
given a suspended jail sentence, fine,
ban, etc; the other got her fine halved
because she pleaded guilty.
So, back to my question, are we not
being told something about the
motorcyclist, because unless I am
missing something here I do not
understand why one person needs to
be jailed and others are not.

CN: It does seem the sum total of his
crimes are that he’s a talentless,
ignorant prat rather than anything
more sinister: unless he was an
arrogant shit in court, there’s no
explanation for why his acts were
punished much more harshly than
many other cases, such as those
mentioned by you.
