Which is your favourite spa city?
Being from Russia, I am a bit biased towards
Moscow. Also, who can resist the charm of a
good Thai massage that is offered in almost
every nook and corner of Thailand?
What kind of diet plan do you follow?
More than a diet, I would say that I follow a
healthy lifestyle. I drink lots of water and green
tea through the day. I avoid carbohydrates entirely
and don’t eat fruits in the second half of the day. I
indulge in sugar only once or twice a month.
Are you a yoga or a gym person?
It’s the gym all the way for me! I love to run fast,
jump and be active in general.
Do you have a beauty routine?
I don’t follow any rituals as such, but I do believe
that our skin reflects the food we eat and our
lifestyle. So, I prefer to eat clean, avoid junk food,
work out regularly and try to get at least seven to
eight hours of sleep whenever possible.
Which was the rst beauty product you used?
My mother used to be an Avon representative,
because of which we had many catalogues
at home with images of stunning women. I
remember being quite drawn to them. My sister
and I loved trying on every product that came
home, be it creams, or bathing gels, or even eye
shadows. But my absolute favourite would have
to be lipsticks. My mum had a huge collection
and I loved trying on every colour.
What does beauty mean to you?
Anything that has some depth or soul to it
is beautiful. A genuine, heart-felt smile
instantly makes anyone beautiful.
What makes it everlasting?
We all underestimate the role happiness plays
in our wellbeing. A happy person always looks
beautiful. Do what you love and surround
yourself with positive people who uplift you.
Following the latest beauty trends without
actually pausing to see if they flatter you is one
of the biggest mistakes most people make in
their pursuit of beauty.
Then, what is wellness?
Wellness is a combination of multiple factors.
When one is physically fit, emotionally healthy
and mentally driven, one is automatically
in a state of wellness.
What keeps you going?
One must have self-belief because life will
definitely throw several challenges your way.
With self-confidence and trust, any hurdle
can be overcome. Also, one not only needs to
be passionate about their work, but also very
professional. Plus, nothing can replace hard work.
The harder you work, the luckier you get.
