T
he two halves the brain complementing each
other as the active half and the passive half,
and as the analytical portion and the holistic
integrating portion have been understood and
expressed in Hindu iconography, art and philosophy.
The Isavasya Upanishad mantras (6 – 11) form a
system in which the opposites are reconciled or the
complimentary halves are juxtaposed.
The Mimamsa school of thought is wedded to
rituals-work. The Upanishadic school considers the
knowledge of the nature of the Ultimate Reality.
