s Ram a man or god?
Certainly not a god, he is only a man. Perhaps,
he is the best of the mankind. Narottam. If
he is a god, Ravana will not die at his hands. Like
everybody else, Rama also has divinity in him.
Each soul is potentially divine. Ravana also has
divinity hidden in him. It is not the innate divinity
that is referred to here. It is the manifestation of
the divinity as god, like Indra or any such god
that is spoken of here.
Like Hiranyakashyapu the demon, Ravana too has
obtained an anticipatory bail from the supreme
court of the cosmos. According to that, certain
immunity is granted to them both. The former
cannot be killed by any species and the latter can
be slain only by a man or monkey. Half man-half
lion comes to do away with Hiranyakashyapu,
finding the loophole in the law safeguarding
the demon. Rama the man has come on earth
exclusively to kill Ravana. The loophole is availed
of by both Narasimha and Rama. Neither
Hiranyakashyapu nor Ravana knows either ofSRI RAMA - THE MAN
