TheRegularMaintenancesection^1 works in asimilar

Whenthe scanhas finished,the resultsappearon the
samepage.Agreen tick^1 meansthere’snothingto
remove,while ared cross^2 shows thatsomeelements
can be cleaned.Clickthe down arrow^3 to see detailsof
exactlywhat’sgoing to be deleted.

Deselectanythingyoudon’t want to cleanby unticking
the boxnexttoit,^1 thenclickStart Cleanupto remove
the files.^2 Whenthe job’scomplete, youcan Rescanor
go backto the previous page.You can also clickthe ‘See full
report’link, whichwill openin abrowser and showevery file
that’sbeen deleted.

Thefinal optionis the App ListCleanup,^1 whichshows
all the programs and Windows Storeapps on your PC so
youcan checkwhetheryouneed them.TheLastUsed
column^2 can help identifythingsyouhaven’t usedin along
time.Ifit’sblank,youmay have neverused it. TheUsed column
can also help with this.^3

Onceyou’vefoundsomethingyouwant to get rid
of (in our example,we’regoing to remove iTunes),
selectit^1 and clickthe Uninstall button.^2 There
areafew extras in the descriptionat the bottom, including
alink to technicalsupport^3 and the optionto checkfor
updatestothe software.^4

Auslogicsgives eachprogram arating, so youcan see
what’sTrustworthy.^1 If an item isn’t rated,^2 it doesn’t
meansomething’sbad –justthatithasn’tbeentested.
Youcan right-clickaprogram to get MoreDetails,^3 suchas
wherethe file is kept.^4 To search the webfor further
information, right-clickan item and chooseGoogleIt.^5
