choiceto‘Keep myfiles’^2 or ‘Remove

everything’.^3 Selectthelatter option.

This willremove anypersonalfileson the

PC,as well as non-standardappsand

settings.

To reset an Android device,

openthe Settingsmenuand

tap ‘Backup &reset’under

System. Tap‘Factory data reset’,

thenviewthe information that

appearson screen and tap ‘Reset

phone’(or‘Reset tablet’). Youwill

needto enter the pattern, PIN or

passwordused to unlockthe device.

Tap‘Deleteeverything’to remove all

data from the internalstorage.

Whenit’s done,rebootyour device.

To reset an iPhoneor iPad, go

to Settings,General. Scroll to

the bottom of the screen and

tap Reset. From here, youcan

chooseanyofthe followingoptions:

•Reset All Settings

•Erase All Content and Settings

•Reset Network Settings

•Reset KeyboardDictionary

•Reset HomeScreen Layout

•Reset Location &Privacy

Selectthe second option–Erase

All Content and Settings.You’ll be

prompted to enter your passcode

and AppleID to completethe reset

process.
