Cranleigh seeks to appoint, for September 2018, a strong honours
graduate to teach Biology up to A level. This post would equally suit
someone who is looking to start a career in the subject, or someone
who already has some experience in the profession. The successful
candidate will teach a variety of classes from Years 9 to 13 in a lively
and successful Department and will take full part in the life of this
busy and friendly boarding school.
Cranleigh offers an attractive remuneration package and subsidised

HEAD OF CHEMISTRY
This is an excellent opportunity for a well-qualified, enthusiastic and
inspirational teacher to take on the leadership of a well-resourced and
successful Chemistry Department. The role would ideally suit someone
seeking promotion and looking to take on wider responsibility but willing to
work as part of a team with the other Heads of Science. They will provide
dynamic and creative leadership, building on the considerable academic
progress that has taken place in recent years. They will also be expected to
contribute to the many activities of the thriving Science Department. The
successful candidate will be an excellent classroom practitioner with a proven
record of high academic outcomes for pupils across Years 7 to 13. They will
possess the leadership and communications skills necessary to support and
motivate others. Successful applicants will have an understanding of the
commitment required in a large boarding and day school.
