his passion for photography with freeride mountain biking, featuring
his friend – a pioneering street rider – Aaron Chase.
“After more than a decade as a freeride photographer, I’d been working on
shots through transparent surfaces for a few years. I was forcing myself to
think of new angles when I realised the shot was actually in front of me.
Nobody had done an extreme sport shot from inside a car with the rider on
the windscreen. I wanted it to be iconic so NYC was the place. And what
better than a New York cab to shoot from? It took a year of preparation, a
full day of working, a few people behind the scenes and 12 attempts to nail
this shot of Aaron with my Canon EOS-iD X.”Screen
