STEIN
SENTINEL CHAINSAW TROUSERS

THE Stein ‘Sentinel’ chainsaw trousers utilise
an abrasion-resistant multi-directional-stretch
base material incorporating European lightweight
technical blocking materials certified to EN 381-5
Class 1 (20 m/s) Design C.
The trousers offer excellent flexibility and all-day
wearer comfort. Combine these features with a
roomy tailored leg, which ensures excellent air
circulation for an improved internal environment.
The stress-zone areas are constructed using
a multi-directional material and the seams are
reinforced stitched for added security. The inner
ankle hem is fitted with an elasticated lace hook to
help keep the trousers in place and to reduce the
ingress of sawdust into the footwear.
Pre-formed knees boost comfort and performance,
with both the knee and greave area constructed
from ArmortexKFM, a heavy-duty, waterproof, tear-
resistant Kevlar polyamide material. The outer hem has 360°
ArmortexKFM protection with climber-guard shaping.
The trousers are supplied in a drawstring cotton shoulder bag and
Stein recommends these trousers are regularly treated with Storm fabric
cleaner or similar to ensure they are kept in the best possible shape.
