Adda

Adda is a system of modular seating
designed by Antonio Citterio. Consist-
ing of a streamlined and modular sofa
and a sleek-looking armchair, Adda is
made up of a lightweight structure in
metal tubing that forms a counterpoint
to the generous padding of the cushions.

In keeping with the trend in contem-
porary sofas for increasingly spacious
comfort, Patricia Urquiola has designed
a system of upholstered furniture for
Moroso with open forms, not confined
in a precise gesture, that are soft and
comfortable. Belt is a sofa with an un-
usual construction that takes its name

Rod Bean

Piero Lissoni is the designer behind
the Rod Bean system of upholstered
seating. Made up of central and end
elements, Rod Bean is characterised
by the fluid and dynamic shapes of the
backs that can be used to create sinuous
arrangements giving rise to more
engaging spaces that encourage
communication. The rays of curvature
and the double depth of the ends,

the structure, weaving themselves be-
tween the cushions and containing the
exhuberance of the cushions. The sys-

compositions with two or more places.

enables the perfect integration of new
elements to the existing Rod System
paving the way for creating alternative
settings and combinations.

Sliding onto the base, the soft cushions
that make up the armrests and back
incorporate an original stitching detail
along the length that produces a slight
valley in the surface – in fabric or leath-
er – a distinctive feature that charac-
terises the appearance of the sofa.

Pack

Pack tells a contemporary story, that
of climatic change, something that is
at the top of the agenda now in our
everyday lives. One of the names that
has helped to define the DNA of this
Tuscan manufacturer, Francesco Bin-
farè, has designed this sofa as a kind of
natural landscape in which the seat,
made from feather and Gellyfoam® (a
technological material made up of a
mixture of foam patented by Edra),

represents a field of floating ice,
while the function of back is resolved
in a highly original way by a big polar
bear lying on its side and is made from
ecological fur. The form is an irreg-
ular polygon – equivalent to the area
taken up by a right angle made up of
a two seater and a three-seater sofa,
with a small table in the middle –
reaching dimensions of 3.7 x 2.50
metres.
