Another significant example of magnetic core nanoparticles encapsulated
in gold shell is shown in Fig. 5.34–37
In the synthesis process, PEI/Ag complex was synthesized by
mixing silver nitrate aqueous solution into PEI solution in the pres-
ence of cold sodium borohydrate NaBH 4. Later, Fe 3 O 4 @Ag seeds
were prepared using hydrothermal method by combining the iron
