How do you balance all the studying
that you have to do with the urge to
experience college life?
Whenever school is in, I try to limit the
amount of traveling and photo shoots
that I do, because I know when school is
in—besides me working—I don’t have
time to do anything else because I have
to be in the library studying. I have to.
I have to be in the books. So school’s
in now for me—I just started school
Monday. I have this shoot coming up in
Puerto Rico, but after that, if it’s not on
the weekend, I try not to do any shoots.PC
What’s your best subject?PC MathSo when you graduate, are you looking
to work as an engineer or are you
looking to start your own business?
When I graduate—I want to see how
far my modeling career goes—but
when I start working in my #eld, I’m
going back to school to get my Master’s
in business because I do want to be a
boss. And I want my own company. By
me being here in Oxford, I have made a
lot of connections. I’m a black woman
engineer, and they’re looking at me
like their mind is blown. They need me.
There’s a high demand for black women
engineers. So, I’ve made a lot of
connections down here. I just need to
get my degree. I’m certainly more that
just the stereotype in the job.PC
