When sending an email or
making a social network
post, you may well want to
include several links, images or
chunks of copied text. Having to
switch between apps to copy and
paste them individually is a pain,
which is where StuffMerge comes in.
This super-clipboard enables you to
copy multiple items to paste into a
message. To access the copied
items, tap the omnipresent tab on
the left of the screen to open
StuffMerge. You can then paste
them into a message at the bottom,
hit Send and choose a method via
the Android share picker. While the
free version only lets you copy up to
three items each to two groups, the
Pro app (£0.70/$1.12) allows
unlimited items and up to six groups.
want to link it up to compatible
third-party apps. So far, these
already include some big names
such as Runtastic, Nike+ Running,
Polar Beat, Withings and RunKeeper.
No additional setup is required since
any such apps installed on your
phone will automatically sync with
Google Fit so that you can view all
your fi tness data in one place. The
types of data that can be shared
include calories burned, pedalling
rate, wheel speed, distance covered,
heart rate, height, weight, power
generated in a workout, steps taken
and elevation, although app
developers can also create their own
custom types. So it’s all very fl exible
and Google Fit has a lot of potential.
A convenient hub for all your
health and fi tness data, plus
built-in activity tracking
